Privacy
Privacy is one of the hottest issues today, on or off the Internet. We are aware of these concerns and want you to feel as comfortable shopping at our site as you do in our store. Our privacy policy, as detailed below, explains the type of information we collect, what we use it for, and the kind of security you can expect when using our site.

We at Fuller Seminary Bookstore believe that your personal information -- including your purchases, email addresses, residential and business addresses, and credit card data -- belongs to you. We collect this type of information when you provide it to us and use it solely for the purpose of processing your order. We do not rent or sell information concerning our customers to third parties.

The United States Federal Trade Commission has created an information page "How to Be Web Ready," located at http://www.ftc.gov/bcp/conline/pubs/online/webready/index.htm, which provides general tips on how to protect your privacy online. For more detailed information on protecting your privacy, you may wish to consult the FTC publication, Site Seeing on the Internet. This handbook is filled with information about how to use the Internet wisely, and tips on how to avoid fraud and deception online and keep personal information private. Site Seeing shows parents how to teach children ways to have fun online without giving out private information.

Consumers can call to order a copy of Site Seeing from the FTC (their toll-free number is 1-877-382-2020). The FTC also has developed a Site Seeing education campaign page -- it's located at http://www.ftc.gov/bcp/conline/edcams/cybrspce/index.html.The online version of the handbook can be found at this site. Borders.com is proud to assist the FTC in its efforts to provide valuable information to consumers by linking to the FTC site.

Security and our Secure Shopping Promise
Ensuring secure online ordering is an important part of our pledge to honor your privacy. Fuller Seminary Bookstore utilizes SSL (secure socket layers) to protect your credit card information. SSL encrypts all ordering information, such as your name and credit card number, so that it cannot be read in transit. When you place an order with us your credit card information is captured and stored separately from your order, so that it cannot be read by anyone other than our customer service staff.

If you don't have a browser that supports SSL or if you feel uncomfortable sending your credit card information via the Web, we offer you the option of faxing or calling our store to complete your order. Once you've selected the items you wish to order we'll ask you to choose a shipping method and provide a shipping address. After you've entered shipping information, you will have the option to proceed with your order online or to fax (626-584-1270) or call (626-584-5700) us with your credit card number.
